For those who must keep money in the bank, print out your bank statement often. So many of us use an app or online and if somehow, they “lose” your bank information, or the system is hacked. FDIC will need proof to insure your loss. Just a suggestion that was given to me. We rely on technology when we should also store paper trails.
It’s only going to get worse for those who have totally bought into the credit system and depend on transportation and making payments because after expenses of necessities not budgeted makes a ripple effect and suddenly something has to be sacrificed in order to keep up with expenses. ..do you buy groceries or fuel the tank?…do you have surplus or use a credit card? …suddenly it cascades and it is costing more to catch up, then comes another decision. ..do I make the rent or mortgage or cut out transportation? …then what?. Be debt free and a person won’t fall into this trap…never take on more than is within your means, even if it means sacrificing ahead of time
